Family and trust transfers dominate July's Mattapoisett deed filings
The Plymouth County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 Mattapoisett property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only two disclosed a sale price: $985 for 2 Winter Hill Rd (Sylvia to Murphy, July 14) and $160 for 9 Pine Rd (a Forrest family transfer, July 9), producing a two-sale median of $572. The remaining nine transfers listed no consideration amount; six of those moved property from an individual owner into a same-name trust, and a seventh was a family transfer, a pattern common in deed records that does not by itself indicate market direction. With price data available for less than a fifth of filings, the month's raw activity looks moderate, but the underlying market cannot be reliably assessed from this dataset alone.
