Twelve Mattapoisett Deeds Recorded as Most Sale Prices Remain Pending

Plymouth County recorded 12 property deeds in Mattapoisett between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Only three carried a sale price so far: $520, $840 and $920, for a median of $840; the other nine remain pending in the registry's system. The period's highest recorded sale was 35 Main Street at $920, from William R. Osier to Phillip D. Whittaker and J. Jessica D. Whittaker. Seven of the 12 deeds appear to be trust or estate-related transfers within the same family rather than open-market sales, and one, at 28 County Road, transferred from Webster Bank N.A. to itself. With most prices still pending, the period's overall market tone cannot yet be assessed from price data alone.
